What is a corporate mental health facilitator?

Corporate mental health facilitators are helping companies support their employees with mental health programs.

So, what is a corporate mental health facilitator?

A corporate mental health facilitator is someone who works with a company to help its employees deal with the stresses of their jobs. They help create an environment where people can openly discuss their mental health and take action to improve it. They often work in conjunction with other professionals, like therapists and psychologists.

A corporate mental health facilitator can support an organization in three ways:

They can provide employee assistance programs, which offer resources like counseling, legal advice, and financial assistance.

They can help create a culture of openness within an organization that encourages people to discuss their problems openly without fear of being judged or punished for doing so.

They can facilitate workshops and other events that teach employees how to manage stress better at work and outside of work as well

When it comes to mental health, it's important to know that your employees know that they are not alone. They may feel like they're the only person in your office who struggles with anxiety or depression, but the truth is that many people go through these things. And many of those people are dealing with them at work.

That's why it's so important to make sure you have a corporate mental health program. A corporate mental health facilitator can help your company create a more supportive environment for employees who are struggling with their mental health or you can start a program using a resource like Creative Counseling Solutions. We can review your current mental health and HR programs. Discuss your company goals, and help you create a program to support your employees.

If you aren't sure where to start,

           schedule a discovery call

How companies can support mental health

Companies can support employees, improve employee satisfaction, and increase productivity by addressing mental health in the work place.

It's no secret that happy employees are productive employees, and that productivity is an important component of a thriving business. But what many companies don't realize is that mental health can be just as important as physical health.

In fact, according to research from the World Health Organization,

"Depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide." That's right: depression is more disabling than heart disease, cancer, and other chronic conditions.

So how do you support your employees' mental health? Here are three simple ways:

           1) Encourage them to take care of themselves. If they're not feeling well, let them go home early or take a day off if they need it. And don't be afraid to ask how they're doing—people who feel supported will always be more productive than people who feel unsupported.

           2) Offer resources for self-care. This could include things like meditation classes or yoga sessions on-site or even just a quiet room where employees can go if they need some time alone or with other coworkers who can relate to what they're going through.

           3) Have open conversations about mental health issues within your company culture—this will help create a culture where it's okay for people to share their experiences and concerns without fear.

If you aren't sure where to start,

           schedule a discovery call
